Identifiers

IDs are readable strings that include the website they belong to. A well-formed ID grants nothing: every call is authorized against the caller’s current grants.

  • Collection operations need an explicit website_id. There is no default website.
  • A resource ID already identifies its website. If you also send website_id, it must match.
  • A resource you aren’t allowed to see returns 404, the same as one that doesn’t exist.
  • Treat IDs as opaque strings in storage. Don’t build them yourself from native INSIDE numbers.
